My story behind the donation.
My friend volunteers for the local food bank and the situation for some is that they have nothing to give their children for Birthday or Christmas as they have no money to get anything. So this got me thinking how difficult situation is for some people and
as Christmas time was approaching I have realised that there will be a lot of families, who won’t be able to give any gifts to their children. And I think any child deserves at least a little something to make the christmas feel special no matter how bad the situation it is.Because I cannot offer myself a lot I have had a thought of doing a Community Donation for children’s books to our Food Bank.
By being an Independent Usborne Partner, meant that I could provide books, activity sets, and more for all ages.
So I’ve started donation because I felt it was a right thing to do, to help families and children to have something to open under the tree.
