Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Please check the list on the right before donating food.  We update it regularly so you can see what’s most needed at our Foodbank Centres right now.

WAYS TO GIVE

  • Give food online here via Bankuet.  Your gift, specified for South Normanton and Area Foodbank, will enable us to order exactly the food we need for people, when we need it – and Bankuet will deliver it directly to us.
  • Donate at South Normanton and Area Foodbank collection points below.  Please check our most needed list (on right) and please only donate items that are in date and unopened, as otherwise we’re not able to give them away.  Tesco Collection point is for in-store shoppers only, as they kindly offer a top-up payment based on items purchased and donated there.  Thanks.

WHERE TO DONATE FOOD ITEMS

If you are happy to drop off food donations, please see the table below for our food collection point locations:

It really helps us when you separate any non food items like toiletries, baby nappies and wipes, Dog and Cat Food from the food items.  Also where possible please donate goods in bags and boxes we can keep as during busy periods it puts the volunteers under a lot of pressure to empty them to return the bags and boxes.
