CHRISTMAS OPENING HOURS 2023

20th December 2023

FOODBANK OPENING TIMES

We are open as usual up to and including Friday 22nd December session and then as follows

Wednesday 27th December
2 to 3pm at Alfreton House, High Street, Alfreton DE55 7HH
(Front porch entrance unless the coffee shop is open then room 1 round the back)

Friday 29th December
1.30 to 2.30 pm at St Michael & All Angels Church Hall, South Normanton DE55 2BA

Then back to usual opening hours from 2 January 2024.

If you get your voucher from a local agency please bear in mind they may not be open over Christmas and you will need to speak to them beforehand to ensure you get an extra voucher for the Christmas period detailed above.

Please obtain a voucher from a referral agency before attending – if in financial crisis you can call Help Through Hardship 0808 208 2138 to speak to a trained citizens advice adviser and obtain a voucher.  Vouchers are valid for one off use and don’t expire for 7 days so you can get them in advance of agencies closing for Christmas.

Please try and avoid getting a voucher the same day as you come to food bank as this puts both the agency and foodbank under unnecessary pressure.

HELP THROUGH HARDSHIP: CHRISTMAS AVAILABILITY

The Help through Hardship helpline will be open until 5pm on Thursday 21 December. It will re-open on Tuesday 2 January 2024.
